I’ve been working on my garden for a while now, and I’m at the point where I need some very large planter pots to really complete the space. The issue I’ve been running into is that most stores only carry the smaller sizes, which won’t work for the plants I’ve picked out. I’ve got a couple of big trees I want to pot, but I’m not sure where to look for really huge planters that won’t cost a fortune. Does anyone have recommendations for finding these extra large pots in the UK? Also, are there any brands I should avoid or specific materials that hold up better outdoors?

I had the same issue when I was working on my backyard project last summer. I wanted extra large planters that wouldn’t crack or fade, especially since I live in a part of the UK where the weather changes quickly. After a lot of research, I found that the key is to look for frost-resistant materials like fiberstone or fiberglass, which are lightweight but really durable. Personally, I had a great experience with Idealist planters. They offer a wide range of options that are perfect for both large trees and decorative plants. The prices are fair, and the quality is top-notch. If you’re still looking, you should definitely check out their catalog of extra large planters here https://idealistplanters.co.uk/extra-large-planter-pots/ I’ve had a couple of their planters for over a year now, and they’ve held up beautifully through some rough weather. Highly recommend
